Last weekend, Roda Golf & Beach Resort was host to a FAM trip assisted by 40 travel agents from all over Spain. The trip was organised by Iristour so they could get to know the area surrounding Roda Golf and the resort itself.
On arrival on Friday the 15th, after settling in to their accomodation at Roda Golf & Beach Resort, they had dinner with various members of the sales team at the Club House restaurant “Collados de Roda” and finished the night by having some drinks in a bar at Los Narejos. On Saturday 16th of may, after breakfast at the club house and a presentation by the rental department and Iristour they were given a golf class by Javier Garralon. Here they were shown the different types of clubs and shots, demonstrating the different routes and lengths that can be achieved by each one. They were also given a rundown on the golf course, the different types of holes depending on their par and the total course par. The class ended with a short demonstration of shots, low and high balls, with one hand, using a foot and even by kneeling. Once the class finished some students tried putting into practice some of the tricks learnt. |
